Seasons of Leadership
Refined by Faith
For nearly 25 years, my life was marked by achievement, influence, and a relentless drive to excel. I led in demanding environments, built a business from the ground up, and made decisions that shaped people’s futures.
From the outside, it looked like success. Inside, it was becoming unsustainable.
My career began in engineering and project management for a major electric utility — long days, high-stakes decisions, and the weight of often being the only woman in the room. Later, I built a business in financial planning and wealth management, guiding clients through complex transitions while quietly navigating my own.
By every external measure, I was thriving.
But beneath the surface, I was depleted — the kind of depletion achievement cannot resolve. I did not fully grasp how heavy striving had become until my body forced me to confront its cost.
That season reshaped my leadership.
Through it, God met me with grace — not by demanding more effort, but by inviting deeper surrender. He showed me how to let my doing flow from receiving. How to rest without retreating. How to lead from alignment rather than pressure.
In the stillness, I began to understand true success — not more accomplishment, but alignment. Alignment with His rhythm. His wisdom. His pace.

For nearly 25 years, my life was defined by achievement, influence, and a constant drive to keep going. I led in demanding environments, built a business from the ground up, and made decisions that shaped people’s lives and futures.
From the outside, it looked like success. Inside, it often felt like survival.
My career began in engineering and project management for a major electric utility — long days, tight deadlines, and the weight of often being the only woman in the room. Later, I transitioned into financial planning and wealth management, guiding clients through seasons of change while quietly pushing through my own.
By every measure, I was thriving.
But beneath the surface, I was tired — the kind of tired that success can’t satisfy.
I didn’t realize how heavy it had all become until my body began to break under the weight of striving.
That breaking became my becoming.
Through pain, God met me with grace – showing me how to let my doing flow from receiving. He didn’t ask me to work harder; He invited me to rest deeper.
In the stillness, I learned what true success really is — not more achievement, but alignment.
Alignment with His rhythm. His peace. His pace.
“The turning point in my life was trading striving for surrender.”
Out of that surrender came Purpose Driven Coaching & Consulting — and eventually, the GROW Framework™.
Grace. Rest. Obedience. Waiting.
These rhythms were not developed in theory. They were refined through experience and anchored in Scripture. They became the foundation for how I now guide high-achieving women of faith — helping them discern their season, steward it well, and lead from alignment rather than performance.
